Your Legislators Need to Hear From You!

Dear Colleagues,

During this August break in the legislative session the President has charged members of the Senate and the House to come home and meet with the public to educate about health care reform AND TO GATHER INFORMATION AND FEEDBACK. The health care reform bills are confusing and scary to the bulk of Americans. When the legislators host these phone sessions and town hall meetings, please relate the message of the ACNP and AANP:

" Irrespective of the final model, NP's have to be included at the full scope of our education, experience and abilities, not as just part of the team."

August is a time when legislators are asking us for input. Please call, email, send a letter, or attend a town hall meeting, Remind your legislator that NP's are critical to any solution and must be included. This is our time and we can be successful if we speak out and make it known that we are pivotal to any health care solution.
