MCNP Accepting Applications for Operations Manager

The Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (MCNP) is searching for an Operations Manager to help support our mission and continued growth of the organization. 

The MCNP is a well-established non-profit nursing association organized in 1992 to represent the professional interests of Nurse Practitioners in Massachusetts.

The MCNP Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization and will assist the MCNP Executive Board with administrative and organizational support related to: 

Communication and Correspondence 
Meeting Planning and Event Support
Financial Operations 
Membership Processing and Recruitment
Database Management
Regional Program Coordination
Website Management
Special Projects 

This position is remote and has flexible hours at approximately 30 hours/week.  It will include some evenings and weekends.  

Bachelor’s Degree with marketing and business background
3+ years working in non-profit organization with operations and/or financial responsibilities
Demonstrated ability in email marketing, website design & newsletter preparation
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Quick Books, PowerPoint, Outlook Scheduling, Social Media (ie Twitter, Facebook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and advocate for self when in need of assistance
Must be willing to travel (limited to MA and NH) as needed for events, meetings
Event planning experience
